After a student passes this exam, they will be able to: - correctly use the basic terms which are significant for social work theory, as well as for the social work profession as a whole; - carry out comparation of different theoretical approaches of significance for social work; - recognise contribution of sociology and psychology to the theory of social work; - analyse the position of social work depending on the dominant opinion patterns in psychology and sociology; - analyse the role of social work profession in social distribution of work, depending on key theoretical paradigms.
