After passing this exam, the student will be able to: 1. Understand the significance of the geographical position components of Australia, Oceania, and polar regions in time and space; 2. Interpret (methodically correct) the physical-geographical and socio-geographical characteristics of these entities; 3. Connect acquired knowledge from geographical disciplines using the example of Australia, Oceania, and polar regions; 4. Apply basic criteria and principles of geographical regionalization; 5. Interpret, orient, and practically apply acquired knowledge on general and thematic geographical maps of Australia, Oceania, and polar regions.
