Day of Opened Door of Addiko Bank on the Faculty of Mathematics and Science on November 13th
Dear colleagues,
Hereby we invite you to “Day of Opened Door of Addiko Bank in the Faculty of Mathematics and Science – Let’s Learn with Addiko!’’, that will be organized on November 13th at 15h in the Ceremony Hall 225. Aim of the event is presentation of possible implementation of mathematical knowledge in Addiko Bank.
Meet with Addiko bank as employer, its operation and functioning. A special accent is on importance of studying mathematics, as well as areas of bank business where students have the opportunity to build a professional career after graduation.
Agenda:
15:00 – After introduction, students will be addressed by Jelena Djuranovic, who will talk on behalf of human resources about building career in agile surroundings, development possibilities that mathematicians have in the bank, as well as programs offered by the bank for professional training and practice.
15:15 – Importance of mathematics in the areas of data management and risk control will be spoken about by Biljana Vujovic. In domain of risk management mathematicians will work on quantifying risks with the help of mathematical models that will provide them understanding of credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk and operational risk. Also, stress tests will be explained that show whether the bank is capable of enduring crises at local and global level.
15:35 – Maja Vujacic will speak about developing possibilities of students of the FMS within IT sector in the bank. Aim of the presentation is understanding opportunities for students in a dynamic surroundings of great groups and implementation of practical knowledge. Special attention will be paid to presenting Addiko Digital Bank and Robotization of technology of the future.
