New Competition for Awarding Doctoral Research Scholarships
The Ministry of Science of Montenegro, third year in a row, announces Competition for awarding scholarships for doctoral research at universities in Montenegro in 2020/2021.
Goals of this competition are: strengthening human resources for research, innovation and competitiveness, increasing the number of young researchers at universities in Montenegro, internationalization of research work, as well as exchange of knowledge between academic and business sectors.
The attractive scholarship is awarded for a period of up to 3 years, and includes free tuition, monthly costs for the doctoral student in the net amount of € 700 and research costs up to € 10,000 in gross amount per year. The scholarship implies full commitment to doctoral research at one of the universities in Montenegro - the host institution, during regular working hours, with mandatory mentoring, as well as a period of international or mobility among sectors.
Doctoral students through this scholarship program should achieve significant results, have intensive cooperation with the research team, strengthen links of the research team with international or business partners through mobility and strengthen capacities to be able to prepare applications for EU research and innovation funds.
Interested candidates and potential mentors can express interest in the scholarship by applying on the portal "Scientific Network" (www.naucnamreza.me) until June 25th, 2020 until 14:00 and applications are submitted through portal "Scientific Network" and to the address of the Ministry of Science until July 10th, 2020, by 2:00 p.m.
