CBMNE Competition for Best Diploma, Master and PhD Thesis
ANNUAL AWARD OF THE CENTRAL BANK
Annual award for best Diploma, Master and PhD theses from the field of banking, monetary policy and theory is awarded on April 11th for the occasion to celebrate Day of the Central Bank of Montenegro. Purpose of the award is to stimulate development of scientific thought and affirmation of young professional staff in Montenegro.
Award is given for theses defended by Montenegrin citizens in previous academic year on universities and faculties in Montenegro. Commission appointed by the Governor of the Central Bank makes a decision on the award. Commission consists of eminent professors of economics.
Annual award of the Central Bank determined by the Governor of Central Bank each year is consisted of a plaque and financial part.
We expect the number of young economists who opt for writing on topics within central banking, monetary policy, supervision and other related fields will increase.

Based on Article 4 and 5 of the Rulebook on Annual Award of the Central Bank of Montenegro (No. 0102-3480 / 1 from July 27th 2011, number 0102-3480 / 2 from January 22nd 2013 and number 0102-3881- 1/2018 dated April 26th 2018), the Central Bank of Montenegro announces the
COMPETITION
FOR ANNUAL AWARD OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF MONTENEGRO IN 2019
I With the aim to stimulate scientific thought and affirmation of young and professional staff in Montenegro, on the occasion of celebrating April 11th – Day of the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Central Bank gives an Annual award for categories of best Diploma, Master and PhD Thesis from the field of banking and monetary policy and theory.
II Financial amount of the Annual award of the Central Bank of Montenegro for 2019 is categorized as follows:

III The right to participate have citizens of Montenegro who defended diploma paper, master thesis and PhD thesis last year at some of universities, faculties or higher schools. Employees of the Central Bank of Montenegro and members of the Central Bank are not entitled to participate.
IV Papers should be submitted to the Central Bank of Montenegro, directly or by mail to the address: Central Bank of Montenegro Bulevar Sv. Petra Cetinjskog. 6, Podgorica, with a note: ‘For Annual Award 2019’, February 20th 2019 the latest. Papers submitted when deadline expires shall not be taken into consideration. Papers should be submitted in paper and electronic form (CD) in Montenegrin language, and next to paper, participants are required to next to the application (with exactly specified address and phone number), submit a certified copy of diploma / certificate of academic degree and decision on the recognition of diplomas (if thesis is defended abroad), resume (CV) and copy of biometric ID card or citizenship certificate.
V Selection of best papers is performed by the Commission appointed by Decision of the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro.
VI Commission may decide not to award annual award for each category, if signed papers do not meet the quality criteria.
VII All participants will be informed in writing on the contest results within 60 days from the day when competition is concluded.
