Exhibition on the First Interdisciplinary Regional Joint Masters Program "Protection and Management of the Marine Environment - MEP&M"

 At the University of Montenegro, the Maritime Faculty in Kotor, with the active participation of colleagues from the Institute of Marine Biology, the first regional interdisciplinary joint master academic program in English, "Environmental Protection and Marine Management – MEP&M," has been accredited. This two-year program (four semesters) encompasses 120 ECTS credits.

The universities organizing the joint MEP&M master program, in addition to the University of Montenegro (Maritime Faculty Kotor and Institute of Marine Biology), include the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës and the "Ismail Qemali" University of Vlorë from Albania.

The program is aimed at all interested students and individuals employed in the public and private sectors of the blue economy who have completed their undergraduate studies (180 ECTS) in related fields (engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, and interdisciplinary sciences), with the goal of enhancing knowledge in the area of marine environment protection and management.

This program is a key output of the project "Development of a Regional Joint Master Program in Environmental Protection and Marine Management – MEP&M" (Erasmus+ CBHE project no. 619239-EPP-1-2020-1-ME-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), funded by the European Unions Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

To celebrate the first public promotion of the joint MEP&M master program, we invite you to join us at the fair organized as part of the "Open Day" event at the Maritime Faculty Kotor on April 4, 2024. This event coincides symbolically with Student Day, offering final-year undergraduate students and professionals an opportunity to learn more about the application process and studying in Montenegros first accredited interdisciplinary joint master program.
