Learning outcomes: After passing this exam, the student will be able to: • Understand the development of contemporary tendencies within the social sciences. • Recognizes the importance of sociology as an engaged science in relation to the social community. • Recognized the importance of sociology in improving the life of man in the community. • Recognizes the importance, influence and usability of basic theoretical paradigms in contemporary sociology from the 19th century to the present day. • Recognize and determine the process of development and establishment of special sociological disciplines through the development of modern theoretical paradigms. • Recognizes the importance of the social and cultural context for the emergence of sociological thinking about man and his place in society. • Understand the importance of the theoretical foundation of the research problem in the process of scientific research work.
