After passing this exam, the student will be able to: - Explain the main processes of cultural development in Montenegro from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century, - Analyzes the significance of the Kotor art school in the Middle Ages, - Explain the basic characteristics of development and cultural heritage of Montenegrin coastal towns, - Explain the importance of the appearance of the Baroque for the development of sacral and profane architecture in the Bay of Kotor, - Evaluate the occurrence and development of institutions of education and culture in Montenegro in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
