After passing this exam, the student will be able to - Explain the periodisation of the Middle Ages and the main medieval concepts; - Analyse the process of human migration, the creation and development of medieval states; - Know the spread and strengthening of Christianity, the development and trends of European and world history from the 5th to the end of the 15th century; - Understands the social structure, the process of urbanisation, the development of education and the arts; - is familiar with the main historical sources and literature of the period.
