After the student passes this exam, he/she will be able to: specify goals and methods of family education, explain the educational function of the family, and its influence on the development and upbringing of the child and on the social level; distinguish different parental roles and educational styles of parents, their characteristics and educational outcomes; identify the possible causes of educational problems in the family, and apply the acquired knowledge in working with families, teachers, preschool institutions and schools.
