Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of the studies, the student will be able to: - apply the learned techniques and skills of translation into and from a foreign language in the areas of law and economics, and translate at a level which meets the demands of the market; - apply the learned techniques and skills of consecutive interpreting of short units of speech, into and from a foreign language, in the areas of law and economics; - use the knowledge and skills to compete in the market of translation services, abiding by the relevant ethical and professional codes of conducts; - recognise and critically decide on the sources to be trusted when translating specialist terminology.
