After the completion of the exam, students will be able to: - describe and analyze the functional schemes of maritime lifting devices (portal cranes, mobile cranes, bridge cranes, transporters, forklifts, etc.), - describe and analyze the mechanism of maritime lifting devices (mechanisms for: driving, turning, lifting and crane radius), - differentiate and compare the advantages and disadvantages of maritime lifting devices, - using Internet and analyze the concrete maritime lifting device, describe in written and verbally the characteristics and functioning.
