After successfully mastering the course students will be able to: • Describe the production systems in which they are run by indigenous breeds of domestic animals • With a high level of responsibility viewed the importance of the diversity of genetic resources of farm animals for the production of sufficient quantities of food and preserve the environment, • calculate effective population size; determine the degree of vulnerability of a population, perform characterization (phenotypic and genetic). • recognize indigenous breeds of domestic animals in Montenegro • organize sustainable use and conservation of indigenous and other endangered livestock breeds
