It is expected that the student after passing the examination in this subject will be able to: 1. Recognize the importance of applying the techniques of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) in clinical physiotherapy in order to achieve full recovery of patients 2. Recognize the differences between individual PNF techniques, demonstrate skill in the use of various techniques (rhythmic initiation, reversal of antagonists, rhythmic stabilization, repeated stretch, contraction-relaxation, etc.) 3. Demonstrate advanced variations of PNF skills (appropriate selection and combination of technique, a combination of different forms and more difficult position, PNF with functional tasks) 4. Apply PNF methods in patients with different diagnoses, included in the physiotherapy program in conjunction with other therapeutic approaches 5. Analyze the importance of research on the PNF to practice physiotherapy
