1. Assess the basic physical and chemical properties of the pharmacologically active molecules and their impact on the behavior of drugs in the body; 2. Apply the knowledge of functional groups in the evaluation of the relation between the structure and the activity of drugs; 3. Establish the basic mechanisms of drug action in the context of the studied groups; 4. Assess chemical interactions of drugs; 5. Identify the most important drug-target interactions; 6. Estimate the chemical aspects of the drug transformation in vitro and in vivo conditions.
