Opportunity for Engagement in Research Projects in German Research Center FAIR-GSI for Undergraduate Students

Call for summer school HGS-HIR and GSI Center is announced on November 1th 2018.

During summer months in 2019, the HGS-HIR program and GSI center will organize summer program for students opened for limited number of students of physics and engineering from Europe or partner states GSI/FAIR.

GSI, German research center is one of world leading accelerator laboratories for elementary research in the field of heavy ions. In collaboration with international research community, existing accelerator complex will be significantly extended thanks to new international facility for ions and antiprotons research (FAIR) that will be the only one in the world for intensity of bundles of ions. GSI-FAIR provides unique research in the fields of hadron and nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, atomic and laser physics as well as plasma physics and in the fields of materials and biophysics applied within hadron cancer therapy. This center offers a work on development of new technologies as well as in the field of radiation safety. Detailed information about research center may be found here.

Summer program for students is hosted by the HGS-HIR---Program of GSI Centre and Partner Institutions for Graduates.
