Biografija - Kostić Nataša

Prof. dr Nataša Kostić je rođena u Podgorici gdje je završila osnovnu školu "Savo Pejanović" kao đak generacije, gimnaziju "Slobodan Škerović" i muzičku školu "Vasa Pavić" (odsjek klavir). Diplomirala je na Filološkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu, na Odsjeku za engleski jezik i književnost. Postdiplomske studije je upisala na istom fakultetu (smjer Nauka o jeziku) gdje je odbranila magistarsku tezu i stekla akademski naziv magistra filoloških nauka. Doktorsku disertaciju odbranila je na Filološkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu i stekla titulu doktora lingvističkih nauka. Za vrijeme studija bila je korisnik stipendije za talentovane studente koju dodjeljuje Ministarstvo prosvjete i nauke Republike Crne Gore. Kao stipendista fondacije The British Scholarship Trust for citizens of former Yugoslavia, i stipendista Tempus programa za podršku razvoju visokog obrazovanja, naučno-istraživačkim radom se bavila i na Univerzitetu u Redingu u Velikoj Britaniji (School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies). Objavljuje naučne radove iz oblasti sintakse, leksičke semantike, kognitivne lingvistike, kontrastivne lingvistike, pragmatike i primijenjene lingvistike. Autor je naučnih monografija Antonimija u diskursu (2013) i Lingvistička analiza realnog kondicionala (2009), i učesnik više međunarodnih projekata: „Attitudes towards languages in Slovenia and Montenegro“ (2006-2007.), „Translation and intepreting in university programmes in the countries of the former Yugoslavia“ (2012-2013.), HERIC MNE World Bank projekat “Reforming doctoral studies at the University of Montenegro” (2016-2017.), Erasmus+ CBHE projekat “Reforming doctoral studies in Montenegro and Albania - good practice paradigm” (2018-2021.), “Open EURAXESS - to strengthen the effectiveness and optimize the services of all partners in an innovative and open EURAXESS Network - EURAXESS TOP IV” (2019-2021.) i Erasmus+ CBHE projekat “Fostering internationalization at Montenegrin HEIs through efficient strategic planning” (2019-2021.). Član je Evropskog udruženja univerzitetskih profesora engleskog jezika (ESSE) i Međunarodnog udruženja profesora engleskog jezika (IATEFL).

Prvi je redovni profesor za oblast Engleski jezik i lingvistika na Filološkom fakultetu, gdje predaje predmete: Engleski jezik 3 -  Morfologija (osnove), Engleski jezik 4 - Morfologija (građenje riječi), Savremeni engleski jezik 5 – Nivo C2.1 i Savremeni engleski jezik 6 – Nivo C2.2 (studijski program Engleski jezik i književnost). Na studijskom programu Prevodilaštvo predavala je predmete: Morfologija engleskog jezika I i II, Uvod u opštu lingvistiku I i II, i Kontrastivna analiza. Na Medicinskom fakultetu predaje Engleski jezik medicinske struke.

Od 2010. do 2015. godine obavljala je dužnost prodekana za nauku i međunarodnu saradnju na Institutu za strane jezike, dužnosti sekretara Društva za primijenjenu lingvistiku Crne Gore i potpredsjednika Društva. Bila je član Vijeća društvenih nauka Senata (2010-2016.), Suda časti Univerziteta Crne Gore (2012-2015.), Odbora za upravljanje sistemom kvaliteta i monitoring magistarskih studija Univerziteta Crne Gore i član Senata (2018-2020.). Član je Centra mladih naučnika Crnogorske akademije nauka i umjetnosti, Odbora za doktorske studije Univerziteta Crne Gore i Sektorske komisije za humanistiku i umjetnost Savjeta za kvalifikacije u Ministarstvu prosvjete Crne Gore. Predstavnik je Univerziteta Crne Gore za saradnju sa Crnogorskom akademijom nauka i umjetnosti. 

Recenzent je naučnog časopisa Language Sciences (izdavač Elsevier), koji je indeksiran u referentnim bazama SSCI i A&HCI, i naučnog časopisa Lingua (izdavač Elsevier), koji je takođe indeksiran u referentnim bazama SSCI i A&HCI.

Dobitnik je Nagrade Univerziteta za postignute rezultate i doprinos naučno-istraživačkom radu Univerziteta Crne Gore u oblasti društvenih nauka u 2015. godini.

Funkciju prorektora Univerziteta Crne Gore obavljala je od septembra 2018. do decembra 2020. godine.
