Biography - Ignjatović Dušan

Dusan Ignjatovic (Niksic, 1975)

He completed his basic studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic, Department of Philosophy. After graduation, he enrolled in the University of Athens (UoA), at the Department of Philosophy, where successfully defended his dissertation, in 2009., titled: The Concept of the Soul in Plotinian and early Christian thought (Η έννοια της  ψυχής στην Πλωτινική και πρώιμη Χριστιανική  διανόηση). While at UoA, he was the recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece (ΥΔΑΣ).

Starting from academic year 2016/2017 he is engaged as a lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, for courses in Ancient Philosophy I and Ancient Philosophy II.

He is a member of the International Association of Greek Philosophy; a member of the Society for Philosophy of Montenegro and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal „Смисао“.

He is publishing articles on the Ancient and Early Byzantine philosophy.
