After the student passes this exam, he/she will be able to: 1. Defines basic concepts from the field of complex sentence syntax; 2. Recognizes the structure of a complex sentence, coordination, subordination, complementation and typology of a complex sentence; 3. Analyzes the complexity of parataxic and hypotaxic types of sentences; 4. Uses grammatical apparatus at the syntactic level and applies it in syntactic analyzes of complex sentences; 5. Applies acquired knowledge in the field of complex sentence syntax in syntactic analysis.
