ITALIJANSKI JEZIK1-OSNOVE FONETIKE I MORFOLOGIJE

After completing the course and passing the exam, the student will be able to: 1. Recognize and use properly written symbols and correctly pronounce spoken sounds of the standard Italian language. 2. Properly use orthographic rules of standard Italian language and compare them with the orthography of their mother tongue. 3. Master the basics of Italian nouns’ and adjectives’ morphology: recognize and properly use gender and number. 4. Recognize and properly use various types of Italian pronouns. 5. Recognize and properly use forms of the Italian definite and indefinite article. 6. Recognize simple prepositions, master some of the segments of their usage and compare them with the prepositional system of the mother tongue. 7. Form and properly use the following Italian simple/compound tenses of the indicative mood: present (presente), recent past (passato prossimo), imperfect (imperfetto) and recent pluperfect (trapassato prossimo) of regular and the most frequent irregular verbs.
