After completing the course and passing the exam, the student will be able to: 1. Recognize and correctly use a limited number of syntactic structures and grammatical forms. 2. Recognize and correctly use basic Italian past tenses. 3. Recognize the characteristics of the Italian pronoun and adjective system. 4. Read and understand short texts on familiar topics. 5. Write short texts related to familiar topics. 6. Have a simple conversation on familiar topics.
