Upon completion of the course, students should be able to describe the poetological and genre characteristics of German Baroque and Enlightenment literature, categorizing works of German literature from the 16th and 17th centuries by literary periods, genres, and types. They will be able to list the most significant authors of German literature from the 16th and 17th centuries along with their works and recognize central motifs in the works specified in the curriculum for the subject, considering the historical and political context. Additionally, students also learn to make short presentations on topics they are assigned, using relevant sources.
