After passing this exam a student will be able to: 1. Define the basic concepts in the field of syntax of a simple and compound sentence; 2. Recognize the structure of simple and compound sentences,their typology, subdivision, nominalizaciju, sentence constituents, coordination, subordination and complementation; 3. Addopt syntax standards and applt them; 4. Analyze the text of all functional styles with regard to syntax level simple and complex sentences; 5. Connect syntax of simple and compound sentences with other linguistic disciplines - morphology, semantics; 6. Apply the acquired knowledge in the area of syntax of simple and complex sentences in syntactic analysis.
