Students will become familiar with Slavic, especially Serbian paleography, script types (glagolitic and Cyrillic) and letter forms, historical continuity and changes. This implies that they become familiar with: constitutional and semi-constitutional script, shorthand; the development and types of writing in the wide area of the Serbian language; older forms of letters in Serbian script; newer forms of letters in Serbian script; types of letters in stone monuments. Students will apply the acquired knowledge by reading the monuments.
