After successfully compleating the course, the student will be able to: 1. Describe the development of Italian art music with particular reference to the development of Opera. 2. Present the most important representatives of Italian Opera music and their work. 3. Give an account of all the stages of the development of the Italian film art from its foundation until the end of the twentieth century. 4. Identify the most important representatives of the Italian film art and their achievements.
