After successfully completing the course, the student will be able to: 1. Analyze the genesis, structure, theme, language and style of representative works of Italian literature written in Middle Ages, Humanism and Renaissance, relying on concepts and theories that dominate in the studies of Italian language and literature; 2. Gather information from a variety of sources in order to better understand a literary work; 3. Undertake an argumentative discussion on topics related to Italian literature of Middle Ages, Humanism and Renaissance.
