After successfully completing the course, the student will be able to: 1. Interpret genre, theme, language and stylistic characteristics of Leopardis poetry and prose; 2. Compare the aspects of the Italian and European Romanticism; 3. Apply the adopted analytical instruments on an independent analysis of representative works; 4. Write essays, term or research papers while respecting the norms of academic writing.
