Free Internet Service for students and Employees at the University of Montenegro globally Available
The Center for Information System of the University of Montenegro enabled students and employees to use the eduroam network.
Eduroam is available in all campuses of the University of Montenegro and in numerous higher education research and education institutions across Europe and the world.
Eduroam - EDUcational ROAMing provides its users with free, secure, fast and easy access to the Internet around the world without having to open additional accounts using an existing username and password (academic mail) created at the institution where they are employed or studying.
For example, employees or students at the University of Montenegro can access the eduroam Internet at their university unit or when visiting any institution in the world where the eduroam signal is available. The same username and password is used, and the user has the same impression, regardless of where he/she accesses eduroam Internet.
The users of eduroam service are students and employees of scientific and educational institutions worldwide. In Montenegro, it can be used by professors, scientists, researchers, students and all other employees of the institutions member of the Academic Network of Montenegro (MREN).
Thanks to the most contemporary encryption standards (e.g. WPA2 / AES), users are guaranteed a high level of privacy protection for their data.
