The library is richer by 2,320 titles and 2,337 e-articles
The Central University Library enriched its fund in 2020 with 2,229 titles of monographic publications, ie 3,072 copies, as well as with 91 titles of periodicals, i.e. 2,401 issues of magazines and newspapers.
Among the new monographic publications, a large number of recent professional and scientific literature in the field of science and art studied at the University of Montenegro stand out, as well as doctoral dissertations and master's theses defended at our university last year. domestic and international reference journals.
Considering that librarians realized almost 7,000 bibliographic records in the COBISS system in the previous 12 months, there were almost 120,000 bibliographic records in the local bibliographic database of the Central University Library at the end of the year, which makes the local CUB database one of the largest in Montenegro.
In addition, until January 2021, the Library stored 232 doctoral dissertations in the Digital Repository, i.e. in the E-thesis system, out of a total of 373 defended at the University of Montenegro.

The electronic catalog of the Central University Library in 2020 is richer by 2,337 articles with a link to the full text, thanks to which more than ten thousand (11,434) e-articles are now available that can be searched and used by students, academic staff, researchers and other users of the Library .
These are professional and scientific texts published in journals published by the University of Montenegro and relevant universities in the region, then articles by Montenegrin researchers published in eminent world journals, as well as other articles collected in accordance with the requirements of library users.
In this way, it is possible to search faster and easier and use professional and scientific information necessary at all levels of higher education and in the fields of scientific research.
