Roadshow of the European Research Council in Montenegro
The Ministry of Science and General Directorate for Research and Innovations of the European Commission organize EIC Roadshow in Montenegro, on Thursday, September 19th in Podgorica Hotel with beginning at 9 a.m.
The event is aimed at presenting novelties in supporting innovations through EU Program Horizon 2020, within the activities of the European Council for Innovations (EIC), possibility to cooperate, primarily directed to small and medium-sized enterprises that work with innovations, start-up community and innovators from academic community. The present members will have the opportunity to meet modalities of financing and supporting innovations within the European Union.
Participants will be welcomed by Mr. Velibor Bošković, acting director of Science-Technology Park of Podgorica, while main aspirations of the European Union in the field of innovations will be presented by a high representative of the European Commission, Mrs. Signe Ratso, Deputy of CEO in the General Directorate for Research and Innovations (DG RTD).
The European Council for Innovations (EIC), as part of Frame Program of the European Union for Research and Innovations HORIZONT 2020, has created a string of new instruments of support for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, innovative start-ups and teams in universities and has been preparing a very ambitious plan for period after 20202 with the aim to create attractive innovation atmosphere in Europe.
The Council (EIC) disposes with four schemes of financing:
- EIC Pathfinder
- EIC Accelerator
- Fast Track to Innovation (FTI)i
- EIC Horizon Prizes.
Montenegro, as affiliated country of the Program HORIZON 2020, has the right to a full access to all forms of financing, under the same conditions and EU member states.
