Workshop on 3D Printing in Education and Art




Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro will hold workshops ‘’Examples of 3D Printing in Education and Art’’ within festival ‘’Science Open Days’’ at Petrovic Castle park, Krusevac, from October 2nd to October 5th this year in terms: from 10:00 to 15:00 h and 17:00 to 19:00 h.

Milena Djukanovic, Assistant professor, will hold workshops to students of primary and high school, as well as the students together with students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Montenegro and team of 3D designers from OpenBox studio within the festival traditionally organized by the Ministry of Science of Montenegro.

 ‘’These workshops will enable the design and printing of 3D models through 3Dmax software and 3D printer. Basic ideas of the game program ‘’Kideville’’ will be presented to students in order to gain insight in architecture, spatial planning, technical drawing and its application in CAD programs’’, Djukanovic said. 

She added that students will become familiar with application of 3D printing in the field of fashion, culture, tourism, as well as other fields.
