“Immunity: right or privilege” – online lecture by Professor Vjeroslava Slavić

“Immunity: right or privilege” is the title of the online lecture by Professor Vjeroslava Slavić which will be held on December 1, at 6:00 PM organized by the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, within the cycle of lectures Science and Society. The whole event will be announced by the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, full prof. Tatjana Novović, PhD, while the lecture will be moderated by Gordana Krcunović, MA.

The lecture entitled “Immunity: right or privilege”, is dedicated to a vital medical, social and ethical topic, which will be discussed by Vjeroslava Slavić, doctor of medical sciences and the only specialist in the field of clinical immunology in Montenegro.

In the announcement of the intriguing topic of the forthcoming lecture, Professor Slavić pointed out that “the immune system is the basic mechanism of the organism’s defense. It is characterized by high specificity, sensitivity and memory in order to achieve optimal quantity and quality response. The right to adequate immunity is the privilege of every man”.
