The Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology was founded in 1973 with the mission to educate young and quality professionals by applying modern methods of education related to the scientific research process, who will be able to use their knowledge and work to encourage further development in the fields of technological engineering, materials engineering and animal protection. By choosing and studying certain narrower areas (modules) at the Faculty, it will enable them to:

  • successful work in the areas of design, management, control and improvement of the technological process of production of various organic and inorganic products;
  • design of metal, ceramic, polymer and composite materials;
  • development of energy storage materials;
  • testing and improving the composition, structure, properties of materials and their application;
  • planning, selection and application of certain environmental technologies.

There is a very wide range of current topics that future students have the opportunity to study at this Faculty, which with its decades-long work has developed into a scientific and educational institution of enviable reputation not only in the country but also beyond. The fact that in recent years professors and associates of the Faculty have more than 200 scientific and research papers in indexed publications speaks in favor of the above, and that in national projects, in which the Faculty is involved, almost all are engaged as researchers.
