VI call for submission of project proposals within the Western Balkans Fund

The Fund for the Western Balkans is pleased to announce that the 6th call for project proposals is open!

The largest call for project proposals in 2023, which provides grants of up to 15,000 euros, will remain open until December 27, 2023. The maximum amount that can be approved per project is 15,000 euros, whereby WBFs contribution cannot exceed 80% of the total costs for a given project activity. The other 20% of costs can be provided through self-financing and/or non-monetary donation.

Applications are submitted online through the Grant management system, while the Call Guidelines are available here. The search for partners takes place via the Facebook page - WBF Partnership Platform, and project proposals should be aimed at the following areas:

  1. Cooperation in the field of culture;
  2. Education and scientific exchange;
  3. Sustainable Development.

All non-profit organizations registered in the Western Balkans region are entitled to benefits, such as:

  • Civil society organization (CSO/NGO);
  • Local or regional public entities, or associations of local or regional public entities;
  • Business associations such as: business associations, agricultural associations, chambers of commerce, tourism associations, etc.;
  • Educational institutions such as universities/faculties, schools, institutes, libraries, research centers, academies of science/music/art schools, etc.;
  • Media associations such as: organizations working with media, journalism and freedom of expression;
  • Cultural or sports institutions such as museums, art galleries, theaters, libraries or associations of cultural institutions, sports clubs, etc.
