Collaboration Agreement Signed with University from Mostar

Danilo Nikolic Ph.D., an acting rector, signed an agreement with Zoran Tomic Ph.D., a rector of the University from Mostar, to collaborate on education, scientific-research and other important interactions in accordance with Bologna declaration and the European higher education standards. The president of the Governing Board, Dusko Bjelica Ph.D., attended the signing ceremony.

This agreement is a proof of already good and intensive cooperation between the faculties of these two universities. Partnership is also confirmed by three Erasmus+ projects: “Strengthening capacities for tourism changes in WB – Building competences for quality management of heritage and cultural tourism”-CULTURWB,” “Western Balkans academic education evolution and professional’s sustainable training for spatial data infrastructures“ – BESTSDI, “Library network support services: modernising libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services” LNSS.

According to the agreement which was signed today, the collaboration will be realized through reciprocal exchanges of teachers, assistants and students, but also through exchanges of information and educational and scientific literature.

The agreement creates numerous opportunities for mutual scientific projects and it will include scientists in scientific researches, organizations of scientific meetings, and exchange of scientific information, journals and other scientific literature. The universities will exchange teachers in order to improve the teaching quality and enrich their experience about education and methodology.

These two universities will deliver short-term and long-term courses and lectures on specific themes and they will organize exchange of students in order to participate in summer practice and other special courses.

The agreement also provides possibilities for organization of postgraduate education and a chance for doctoral studies and exchanges of academic staff for specialization based on the parity principles.
