Winners of the Confucius Institutes Chinese Tongue Twister Contest announced

The final competition in Chinese speedboats was held on Friday, April 12, 2024. in the premises of the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica.


Participants of the Chinese language course at HSK 1 and HSK 2 levels were eligible to participate. The competition is divided into two categories, based on the level of knowledge the students/pupils possess.
23 participants of the Chinese language course applied for the Chinese speedboat competition held in Podgorica.
In the final, the best were decided by a three-member jury, which consisted of the director of the Confucius Institute, prof. Gao Qinglong, Chinese language teacher Li Tianwen and translator at the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China Mila Babović


After the wonderful and interesting presentation of our competitors, the jury had no easy task in evaluating and selecting the winner. In a beautiful and positive environment, the jury made a unanimous decision to award 2 competitors in each category for the first three places.


The Confucius Institute, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China, provided valuable prizes for the best: Xiaomi smart watches, headphones and smart boards.


Awards were given by category to:I category / HSK 1:
1) Lazar Merdović (294 points) and Zora Jakovljević (290 points)
2) Maria Katarina Fusco (288.5 points) and Bogdan Đurković (287 points)
3) Mari Kazarian (286 points) and Anita Capa (280 points)


II category / HSK 2:
1) Aleksandra Pavićević (293.5 points) and Teodora Tomović (293.5 points)
2) Dajana Dušević (293 points) and Jovana Vojinović (277 points)
3) Jane Kastrati (275 points) and Vanja Filipović (272 points)


The same competition was held in Herceg Novi at the Faculty of Management in which 16 candidates participated.
