PROF DR MILAN MARKOVIĆ

Educational History

·         Born on 11 February 1963 in Titograd (Podgorica).

·         Degree in law from the Faculty of Law in Titograd (Podgorica) in 1986, where he won student award “19 December” and the University Charter, and was declared the student of the year in Montenegro in 1986.

·         MA (in 1991) and Doctorate (1998) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade.

Professional Positions

·         Dean of Faculty of Political Science (2018 -)

·         The President of Montenegrin Constitutional Court in two consecutive terms (2007-2013).

·         Full professor at the University of Montenegro since 2008 (at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Sciences). Dean to the Faculty of Political Sciences since March 2018.

·         Vice-Dean to the Faculties of Law (2001-2003) and of Political Sciences (2006-2009)

·         Member of the Legislative Committee in the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro(1995-1996), a member of the Judicial Council of the Republic of Montenegro (2002-2006).

·         Chair of the Council for State Administration Reform (2003-2004) and a member of the Law Council of the Ministry of Justice (1995-1996)

·         Member of several scientific boards, associations and review panels.

·         Author of more than one hundred papers and reviews.
