Biography - Peličić Damir

BIOGRAPHY

Damir Peličić, Ph.D. med., was born on January 28, 1976 in Podgorica, Montenegro. He graduated from medical school in Podgorica in 1995. He graduated in 2006 from the Higher Health School of Professional Studies in Belgrade. In 2015, he completed his second degree Master of Academic Studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Novi Sad. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2024 at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Kragujevac and obtained the scientific title of Doctor of Medical Sciences, specialized field of preventive medicine. He began his work experience in 1996 at the Department of Nephrology with hemodialysis at the Clinical Center of Montenegro in Podgorica. Since 2015, he has established a new position in the Science Center of the Clinical Center of Montenegro. Since 2012, he has been continuously engaged as an associate of practical teaching, for the group of professional subjects of internal diseases with care, at the secondary medical school in Podgorica. Since 2016, he has been engaged continuously at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro in Podgorica, as a professional associate at basic, specialist and applied masters studies in health care. Since 2006, he has been an active member of the European Association for Nephrology Care. He is the author of more than seventy publications printed in full in domestic and international professional and scientific journals and in the form of abstracts from domestic and international professional conferences. He is the author of seven scientific works published in their entirety in scientific journals that are in international databases. He has been an invited lecturer and reviewer in international scientific journals on several occasions.
