Biography - Nikolić Emilija

I was born on 12^th of February 1964 in Niksic, Montenegro, where I graduated in primary and secondary school.

In 1982, I enrolled in Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla (Tuzla University – SR BIH). On 24^th of December 1987, I graduated as a Ph.D. in Medical sciences. During May 1992, I enrolled in specialization course in area of pneumo-physiology. Specialization course was conducted in Special institute for pneumonia diseases and TBC Brezovik in Niksic and Institute for cardiovascular and pneumonia diseases in Sremska Kamenica, Novi Sad. In year 1994, along with specialization course, I enrolled in post diploma studies at Faculty of Medicine in University in Novi Sad. In 16^th of May 1996, I graduated as Magister of Medical sciences by defending of Magister thesis “The role of biostimulytion in respiratory – obstructive patients''.

On 5^th of September 1996, I became a Specialist of pneumo – physiology. On 10^th of July 2002, I graduated as Ph.D. through successful dissertation named “Quality of life in respiratory – obstructive patients regarding climate factor, biological and social status” at Faculty of Medicine – Novi Sad which provided my title of Ph.D. of Medical sciences.

January 1987 – 1992 - Permanent employee in Health Institute – Tivat as a General Practitioner.

September 1992 – I became a permanent employee in Health Institute of Herceg Novi as a Specialist doctor at the Dispensary for pneumonia diseases and tuberculosis while from September 1996 I am employed as Specialist Pneumo-physiologist at that institute.

March 1998 – I became a permanent employee in Health Institute Podgorica and worked as a Doctor Specialist pneumo – physiologist in Centre for pneumonia diseases and tuberculosis.

During 1998, I was engaged as Ship Doctor at passenger ships of the Mediterane Shipping Company (MSC)

School years 2000/2001, 2001/2002, 2002/2003 – I worked as freelance professor in Pediatric at Secondary Medical School – Podgorica

Study years 2005/2006,2006/2007 and 2007/2008 – I agreed with Faculty of Phylosophy in Niksic to be engaged for teaching on subject Health education and hygiene, department for preschool education, and during study years 2005/2006, 2006/2007 – engaged as a professor for subject School hygiene at Teacher department.

Study years 2006/2007, 2007/2008 – agreement with Medical faculty – Podgorica on teaching; applied study program – High Medical school in Berane for subject Nutrition and medical nutritive therapy. 

Study year 2007/2008 - Proffesional assistant for subject Physiology at Medical faculty in Podgorica, department Medicine and Dentistry.

1^st of July 2008 – permanent employment as Docent at University of Montenegro – Faculty for applied physiotherapy in Igalo, for realization of teaching subjects Physiotherapy in pulmology, Cardio-pneumonia physiotherapy and Health education and hygiene at Faculty of Phylosophy in Niksic.

2010 – 2013 – Member of a team for science activities of Lomonosovski University, department for chemical enzymology. Research subject: Applied method of immune-analysis and molecular diagnostics in genetic and virus diseases. According to this, during June 2010, I studied subject related to application of methods of polymerization reaction of dividing in clinically biochemical experiments at Faculty of fundamental medicine in Lomonovski State University.

September 2011 – member of a team of academic professor Aleksej Mihailovic Jegorov – Identification of genetic mutation on bacteria sell which is resistant to beta lactam antibiotics.
