Biography - Premović Marijan

He was born on the 4th May 1983. in Berane, Montenegro. Elementary and high school (social language course) he finished in his hometown. He graduated history on Faculty of philosophy in Niš 2006th year. The same year, he enrolled postgraduate studies at the Faculty of philosophy, University of East Sarajevo, under the supervision of prof. dr. Andrija Veselinović as a visiting professor. He finished master studies 2010th. on the topic: Župa Budimlja in the Middle Ages, in front of the commission which included academic Rade Mihaljčić (president) and prof. Nenad Lemajić (member).

He finished PhD at the Faculty of philosophy in Belgrade 18. July 2013. on the topic: Middle and Lower Polimlje and Upper Podrinje in the Middle Ages, in front of the commission: prof. dr. Sinisa Mišić (president), prof.dr. Andrija Veselinović (mentor) and prof . dr. Srdjan Rudić (member) and became the youngest doctor of historical sciences in Montenegro.

In september 2011th was elected for a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. June 2015th became Assistant Profesor and teachs subjects: History of the Balkans in the Middle Ages I and II, General history of the Middle Ages and The history of the Byzantine.

I participate as a researcher in several national and international scientific projects. I am a member of the Advisory Committee in magazines Historians View (HV) - International Journal of Historians View and Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi (ASOBİD).  Area of interest and scientific research is: medieval history (historical geography of the Middle Ages, the political situation, the remains of material culture, economy, monasteries and churches, villages and population by the end of the fifteenth century, the medieval parish and country). I know and read medieval sources in Latin and Old Slavic texts. He has participated in several conferences, forums, round tables and book promotions.
