Biography - Nenezić Milica

Milica Nenezić was born in Nikšić. She has completed her primary and secondary education in Podgorica. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić at the Department of English Language and Literature in 1994. She acquired her M.A. degree in English Literature of the 19th century at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade in 2009  She has received her PhD degree in English Literature of the 20th century at the same University unit.

 Since 1995 she has been engaged as the teaching assistant with the English Phonetics and Phonology, later to be engaged as the English language teacher/instructor. At the Faculty of Philology she currently teaches at the home Department: Contemporary Language Acquisitions III and IV which concerns Essay writing and Oral language practicing; English to Montenegrin Translation Course III and IV, and Literary Translation Course (Poetry) VIII for Specialist Studies Programme (graduate specialization level). She is also teaching at the Departments/Study Programmes for Law, Economy and Biotechnical Sciences in Bijelo Polje and High Medical School in Berane (English Language courses I, II III and IV). Former engagement included Teacher Training Education (English Language course I) and the Programme for Geography and Geographical Sciences (English Language course III and IV) .

 She had previously received scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Science a one-month language courses in London and Wigan, and she attended summer school for foreign students at U.M.I.S.T. in Manchester, where she obtained her degree in Advanced Course for Foreign Students.

 Besides her current engagements as language instructor/lectrice, major fields of her work and interest include translations of literary, philosophical and religious texts, poetry and literary-critical discourses. So far she has worked on many translations including poetry and literary texts.

 She has also presented her papers on international conferences. Areas of closer interest cover poetry translation, archetypal literary criticism and feminist literary theories.
