Biography - Šabotić Sait Sait Šabotić - (born in Hazane, 1966) - a historian, an editor of the magazine "Glasnik Bihora". He finished the primary school in Niksic and he acquired the  secondary education in Niksic and Ivangrad, which is called Berane today, where he finished the legal-administrative educational pofile. In 1984, after the secondary school, he enrolled the Faculty of Philosophy, department for History and Geography. In the same year he was sent to his military service, in Postojna (Slovenija, the former republic of Yougoslavia). When he finished his Military service, in 1985, he started attending the Faculty and listening to the lectures in History and Geography department. In 1991, he finished his studies as one of the best students in his class. Starting from 1992, he worked as a History and Geography teacher both in the primary and secondary schools in Niksic, and at he same time he dealt with research and scientific work  related to the History.In  2010, he did his master`s thesis in the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic. After that he enrolled in his doctoral studies, also in the above mentioned department. He took part in the lot of scientific meetings in the country as well as abroad. He collaborated with almost all magazines and journals in Montenegro which published papers that deal with history. He also collaborated with the journals from the region. He is the co-author of three history textbooks for primary schools and the  high school, more than 30 displays for the collections of poetry and fiction, about fifteen displays for historical and journalistic achievements and so on. He is the author of more than fifty works in the field of history and pedagogical-didactic issues, large number of  reviews, forewords and afterwords.  He is also the co-author of  the  comprehensive study "Muslim-Bosniak population of the Onogost - Niksic region 1477-2003 - historical and demographic processes" (Podgorica, 2005). He is one of the authors of the monographs texts on theater life in Niksic "The Magic lasts- Niksic`s theater history 1884-2006" (Niksic, 2006) and  "Historical Lexicon of Montenegro", (books 1-5, Podgorica, 2006). He is the co-author of a tourist publication "Montenegrin seaside" (Zagreb, 2007). He is the author of the monograph "Ulcinj" which was  published by The Publishing house "Vijesti" within the series "Towns of Montenegro" (Podgorica, 2009), one of the authors of the monographs "Berane" (Berane, 2012), co-author of the “Study of  valorization of Bosniak monument heritage in Bijelo Polje" (Bijelo Polje, 2013). He works as an  assistant to the principal at JU OS Mileva Lajovic Lalatovic in Niksic and as a Teaching associates at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic on the Study program for history. He is a member of honour "of the Native Club Bihor ", the association operating in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He is also a secretary of the editorial board of the publication of "The Ottoman (Turkish) sources for Montenegrin history" the project whose implementation is still in process.He is married and father of two children.
