Biography - Jovanović Ivona

Ivona JOVANOVIC has a PhD in Philological sciences from the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) with the thesis "French Language and Culture in Montenegro (1834-1941)". At the same University he obtained a master degree with the thesis "French language in Tourism and Hotel Management (teaching strategies and selection of teaching materials)". Shes a Full Professor at the University of Montenegro where she teaches at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor and at the Faculty of Philology courses as French language; Civilizations, languages and cultures; Intercultural communication in tourism. Her research interests are within the field of cultural history, cultural tourism, didactics of French language, language policy and travel literature and on this topics she has published in international journals. She is the author of the first textbook of French language published in Montenegro (Bienvenue au Montenegro), of monographs published in the editions of the University of Montenegro (Langue et Culture Francaises au Montenegro) and of several chapters of the books published in USA, Spain, Italy, France. She also organized and acted as a referee for many international conferences. She is accredited as examiner for DELF examination in French language and as a scientific translator for French language. Shes also involved in several international and bilateral projects.
