Biography - Ilić Branko

Born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing elementary school, he enrolled in high school in Bar, Montenegro, and then in 1996 he enrolled at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) in Cetinje in the class of Prof. Borislav Stjepanović. He completed his studies in 2000. After completing his studies, he signed a contract for internship at the City Theater in Podgorica. After the internship period expired, he signed a contract at the FDU in Cetinje and started working as an assistant under the mentorship of Prof. B. Stjepanović, while also continuing his freelance engagement at the City Theater, where he remains an honorary member to this day. He remains active in teaching and in 2006 began working as an assistant and lecturer at the Academy of Arts in Osijek. He completed his masters degree in 2012 under the mentorship of Prof. Branislav Mićunović, with a masters thesis titled "From Organic Play to Art." The thesis was graded with the highest mark. In 2015, he was elected to the position of assistant professor in Acting and Acting with Actors at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, and then in 2020 to the position of associate professor. He has performed dozens of roles in almost all theaters in Montenegro and has appeared in several feature films, one TV movie, and several TV series. He has also worked as a host on several television stations in Montenegro. He is one of the founders of the NGO "Teatar Mladih," which is involved in the production of theater performances. He has been awarded multiple times for his work in theater. He directed productions such as "Pea Soup" by Miloš Radović, "Beauty and the Beast" by Igor Bojović, "Night of the Tribades" by P. U. Enkvist, and others. He is currently employed at the FDU in Cetinje as an associate professor, and he is also engaged as an honorary member at the City Theater in Podgorica.
