Biography - Drobnjak Ivana

Ivana Drobnjak was born on 25th May 1994 in Pljevlja. She finished primary and secondary school as the pupil of generation and diploma ‘’Luča’’ holder. During her secondary education, she participated in and won awards at Russian language competitions.

She enrolled at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the academic year 2013/2014. She was awarded three times by Faculty’s Collegium for achieving success during the academic years 2015/16, 2014/15, 2013/14. She won the annual student award of the Pljevlja Municipality in 2016. The University of Montenegro awarded her as the best student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2015.

During her Bachelor and Specialist studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education and Municipality of Pljevlja.  At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, she completed the nine-month internship in 2017.

She completed her studies in Structural Engineering with a GPA of 9.75. On 12th July 2017, she successfully defended her thesis Creating a program for calculation of internal actions in walls under the mentorship of prof. dr Marina Rakočević.

Since 2019, she is employed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the University of Montenegro as a teaching assistant.

Masters thesis titled "The application of the Finite Element Method in bending plates”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr Marina Rakocevic defended in July 2020.

She speaks English and Russian languages.
