Biography

Prof. dr Nedeljko Latinović has been employed at the Biotechnical Faculty since 1999 and he received the rank a full professor from the plant protection field in 2020. He got PhD degree in 2007 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade on the theme “Control model of grapevine excoriosis in vineyards of Podgorica“. He did the specialization from the field integrated pest management in Italy, United States of America, Germany, and from the field registration of plant protection products (pesticides) in Slovenia and Great Britain. At many international conferences from his fields he presented his papers by posters and oral presentations.

He has published more than 160 scientific and professional papers in domestic and international magazines in the country and abroad. As a deserving individual, for special contributions to the development of scientific research, professional work and the international positioning of the University of Montenegro, he received the Recognition of the University of Montenegro in 2019 as well as the Charter for the results achieved in scientific research and professional work on the occasion of marking the 85th anniversary of the Biotechnical Faculty (2022).

He is the manager of the national project: Biofungicides application in agriculture and urban areas (BIOAPP) financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (2024-2026) and of the bilateral project between Italy and Montenegro: Grapevine trunk diseases forecasting towards a sustainable viticulture in Montenegro and Italy (GRAPETRUST)" financed by Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (2023-2025).
