Biography - Milović Veselinka

I was born in 17.05 1960 in Niksic, where I finished elementary and high school. At the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Psychology) I graduated in 1983 defended thesis: "Incest". Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy I ended up in Belgrade. I defended  master's thesis: "High stresfull life events and psychodynamics crisis process." in 2009. Doctoral thesis: "Job loss and mental health" defended in 2014 in Mostar.I started professional career  a clinical psychologist at the psychiatric deprartment of the General Hospital in Niksic.

1989 - 1993 worked as a clinical psychologist in the army.

1993  to  today worked at the Center for Mental Health –

2003  worked as a program coordinator at UNICEF - Youth Program.

2006 -2014 working as an assistant at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic

2014  to today  worked as a lecturer in Psychology study program on subjects:

Mental Health Psychology

Community psychology and  crisis intervention

Fundamentals of of Clinical Psychology

Counseling skills

Worked as lecturer in Pedagogy study program on  subjects:

2015 – 2016   Psychopathology in children and adolescents

205-2017        Methodology of the work with children with behavioral disorders

2016 -2017    Developmental Psychology 

Attended and successfully completed the education:

  • Psychoanalytic group psychotherapy - Dr. Milica Jojić and Dr Zorka Lopičić
  • REBT - dr. Zorica Maric
  • Treatment of persons with PTSD
  • Anti-stress training -Ms.Penelope Curling, Mr.Kamran Ahmad
  • Treatment of addictions Belgrade and Ljubljana
  • Identification and treatment of social phobia
  • Motivational interviews
  • Functional Family Therapy

In addition, I participated in numerous seminars and led  a number of projects (UNHCR Program "Hello  to You", "Open Club" program - Open Society Fund, Office for drug prevention, HIV counseling, Youth Parliament, Norwegian people program Aid, ICS Program, Prevention of Violence against Women and Children, Youth Program in Unicef, Psychosocial Support Program of CK CG).

I  gave lectures to the professors of history in Podgorica and Sarajevo within the project of the Center for Reconciliation in South East Europe, and to the professors of the University within the TRAIN project.

Evaluating the Historical books of the Center for Reconciliation in South East Europe and evaluating the CKCG care program

I participated in the congresses of the American Psychiatric Association in Washington, San Francisco, New Orleans and New York. Participated at the World Psychiatric Association Congress in Buenos Aires and Lisbon. At the congresses I exhibited the works.
