Biography - Lučić Miomirka

Miomirka Lučić was born on 30/09/1980 in Kotor. She finished elementary school in Prcanj in 1994, and then she enrolled gymnasium in Kotor and finished it in 1998. In Niksic, in the academic year of 1998/1999 she enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Sociology, where she graduated in 2004. In 2007 she undertook postgraduate master studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, and in 2009 defended her Master's thesis, entitled Social - ecological aspects of the cultural landscape of Lake Skadar and their connection with tourism. After completing her postgraduate master studies, she continued doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, Department of Sociology, and in 2017 she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled The values foundation of cultural identity in the postsocialism period on the example of Montenegro.

She has been employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic since 2010, and she teaches the courses Theory of culture and needs I and Theory of culture and needs II, Sociology of Communication I, Sociology of Communication II, Theoretical foundations of teaching methodology, Methodology with school work, Sociology of Education and Sociology of family. She has been engaged in the activities of the Institute for Sociology and Psychology. She has participated in scientific research projects, as well as scientific meetings, most of which had an international character. Her papers have been published in national and international journals. Her areas of interest are related to the sociology of culture, social anthropology and social ecology. She is a member of the Society of Sociologists in Montenegro.
