Biography - Vujović Lazo

Dr Lazo Vujović is an Associate Professor at Maritime Faculty Kotor, University of Montenegro.

He finished Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Department for Mechanization.

He completed postgraduate studies at Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor in 1994.

He earned his PhD at Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor in vršio je m fakultetu Univerziteta Crne Gore.1998.

He started his career as a seafarer on deep sea trade ships and obtained a title of Chief Engineer on ships with engine complex  3000 kW or more.

After completing Faculty of Mechanical Engineering he started working in the Industry for machines and equipment  ²Radoje Dakić² in Titograd, where he worked in a construction department on the position of constructor.

He worked as a teacher in Maritime High School Kotor from  1980 to 1995. Besides his teaching job he was also a head of school workshop.  

Since 1995 he has been working at Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor where he was on position of teaching assistant to Associate professor.  

In addition to being involved in education he was assigned with different duties: head of a study programme Marine Engineering, Vice-dean for quality and international cooperation, head of training center program, member of Council for Natural and Technical Sciences at University of Montenegro and other.

He published five university books as follows:

“Ship auxiliary engines and equipment”;

“Marine engineering”,

“Ship auxiliary engines”,

“Ship engines and systems”,

 “Ship engine complex”.

He also published many scripts and teaching books.
