Scientific Areas: Bioclimatic and energy-efficient architecture
Sanja Paunovic Žarić (from Podgorica, 1984) finished undergraduate and master studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Montenegro. From the year of 2006 up to 2009, she was working ain the position of architect in the country and abroad (Tunisia, Northern Ireland) in several recognized architectural practices. She got her Ph.D in the year of 2022, with the title: »The building envelope as a generator of lighting and thermal comfort - working spaces of administrative buildings in Podgorica, Montenegro«.
Sanja is team member in international projects. Sanja publishes in scientific journals and presents at international conferences. She obtained several scholarships, awards and study exchanges (TU Eindhoven).
As a mentor and co-mentor she was initiated series of workshops, exhibitions and congresses, mentoring them and independently takes part in architectural competitions. She is author of several faculties’ publications.
She obtained the first prize in the competition for the best short documentary movie. She works independently in the field of architectural and interior design, where she participated in award-winning and completed projects.
Membership in professional associations: Member of the Union of Architects of Montenegro (SACG).
